Summary

Bronze Age potsherds found at Reculver. Some 89 sherds, representing five vessels, were found. They were apparently associated with a possible ditch or pit noted in the cliff face west of Reculver Roman fort. A shell layer was also observed in the bottom of the feature

Bronze Age site. A shell layer was noted in the cliff edge west of Reculver Roman fort, and described as being "probably at the bottom of a pit or ditch". Further investigation in the area led to the recovery of some 89 Bronze Age potsherds, representing a minimum of 5 vessels. (1) additional bibliography (2-3) Photographs (4-7)
