Two type `B' beakers found at Highstead in 1866 and 1878 are now in the British Museum. (1) Acc. Nos. 1903, 11-15, 216 and 217. Bequeathed by F. Brent. The 1866 pot was dug out of Highstead Gravel Pit. Highstead is the only siting for the 1878 pot. (2) There are several gravel pits at Millbank which are sometimes referred to as the Hoath or Highstead gravel pits. Centred at TR 20406525, they have not been worked for a great number of years and are overgrown or grassed over. (3)
