Settlement? formed by a group of conjoined rectangular units, five of which seems to contain a pit: other pits scattered in area. (1,2)

Marked as medieval farm site by G. K. Horner. (3)

Description from record TQ 56 NW 91:
[TQ 514 654] Cropmarks of rectangular ditched enclosures at about 100 yards E of the area known as 'The Roughet' in Hulberry Corner, in Lullingstone Park. The site was excavated by Horner in 1970-2, however the age of the enclosures could not be determined. 'The Roughet' is centred at TQ 517 650. (4)

The cropmark was observed in 1969 and subsequently investigated in 1970. No trenches were dug across the interiors of the enclosures. A few sherds of 12th-13th century pottery were found in the ditches. (5)
