On exhibition in Herne Bay Museum are flint implements from Cat Island (centred TR 16606850) a gravelly bank West of Herne Bay pier. (a) Part of the Armstrong Bowes Collection, they include seven Thames picks (two waterworn and doubtful) and some flint flakes. The date and circumstances of their findings are not recorded and no further information could be obtained (1). Additional references (2-4).
