TR 173683: On exhibition in the Royal Museum, Canterbury, Acc. No. RM 7796, is part of a Ne. rough flint axe found near Herne Bay pier-head. It was acquired for the Museum in 1960 but no details of the circumstances of finding or its exact provenance are known (1).
