A large rectangular concrete block with a sloping top surface and a bevelled face at the western end into which a large hoop of iron is set. Possibly one of four such blocks originally and an anchor point for a mast or similar structure. Visible on an aerial photograph of 1946 along with two other presumably similar blocks forming a square (Photo Ref: (106g 30th April 1946 4435). Seemingly not in use at that date and locals report the blocks were pre-Second World War (1). Possible association with the nearby First World War airship station. Only remaining block of the possible four and in fair condition. Site not visited.
