Site of a large zigzagging band of World War Two anti-tank pimples at least five rows deep in Capel-le-Ferne, a continuation of the anti-tank stopline that ran inland from the cliff top to the south. It ran from the end of the anti-tank ditch just north of New Dover Road, along what is now Clarence Road, north west along Alexandra Road and then north east along Victoria Road, stopping before Lancaster Avenue, a total of c 244m.. The stopline was continued by larger concrete blocks north westwards from this point. Visible on aerial photographs of 1946 (Photo Ref: 106g 30th April 1946 3436). No apparent trace visible on modern images but site not visited.
