This feature was mapped as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. This line of anti-tank cubes ran perpendicular to the coastline and were first visible on military aerial photographs taken in February 1941 [2] and have been mapped from a series taken in February 1946 [3]. By April 1950 [4] the cubes positioned on the golf course have been removed but they still remain to the west of Golf Road. These remaining cubes are gone by June 1980 [4].
