Terraced garden lawns on the south and east sides of the main block of Somerhill (q.v.) are revetted by stone ashlar walls which rise as short parapet walls with plain flat coping. Square terminal posts. The eastern wall extends northwards stopping at a contemporary sunken service lane which passes by the northern end. It is deep, narrow with battered walls.
