A Neolithic pottery spoon on display in Maidstone Museum was found 'many years ago' at Ivy Hatch, near Ightham. It was presented by Mr G.W.R. Monckton, formerly of Ightham Mote, who had received it from Sir Thomas Collyer-Fergusson, his grandfather, also of Ightham Mote. (1)
