II
Former farmhouse. Early C19 Flemish bond yellow stock brick with red rubbed brick dressings, the left return rendered; slate roof; brick stacks.
Plan: East facing. The main block is a double depth plan, 2-room wide, with a central entrance, probably facing the stair. Rear service wing at right angles with an end stack.
Exterior: Very unspoiled. Symmetrical 3-bay front with a deep hipped slate roof. The windows have flat rubbed brick arches with brick keyblocks. Steps up to a central, panelled C19 front door with a fanlight with spoke glazing bars, the round-headed rubbed brick arch with a brick keyblock. Window embrasures with red brick jambs, glazed with original 4-pane sashes with margin glazing. The right return has 2 ground and one first floor original windows with segmental rubbed brick arches with brick keyblocks and original glazing matching that on the front except for one sash which is incomplete. The left return has one original ground floor window and 2 other windows with replaced glazing.
Interior: Not inspected but may retain original joinery.
