The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SANDHURST TQ72NE MEGRIMS HILL 1350-0/5/202 Field Green House 20/06/67 II* House. Mid to late C18 with some C19 alterations. Built of red brick with grey headers and hipped old tiled roof with 2 brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys, attics and basement; 5 windows. Stone stringcourse and parapet with stone coping and brick bracket cornice carried up within the parapet to form a pediment over the central 1st floor window which is segmental-headed with a keystone over. 12-pane sashes with ribbed brick voussoirs. Attic storey has large brick gable with pseudo-Venetian window added in C19 above the parapet in place of the central dormer. 2 end gabled dormers. Open pedimented doorcase with Tuscan half-columns shell fanlight and 6 panelled door approached up side flights of stone steps with cast iron handrail and incorporating Diocletian window to basement. The grandest C18 house in Sandhurst. (West Kent and the Weald).

[Full architectural description] (2) Field Green House. Mid 18th century house of 5 bays and 2 storeys. Plum and blue brick and scarlet dressings. (3)
