(TQ 90897551 - sited from HHR map) II Old Admiralty House Gerrison Point Built 1830. Square brick building with adjoining screen walls. 3 storeys and basement. 5 windows to each floor. Ground floor projecting, plastered porch with 2 sash windows on either side. Stucco ground floor base supporting stone verandah with cast iron railings. Above Plaster band and cornice. Moulded reveals to 2nd floor windows. Position for flag pole. Concealed slate roof. Very reminiscent of Athenaeum, London. (1) TQ 90897551 - not shown on O.S. map (2) and site photographs (3,4).
