[TQ 971 512] A large Neolithic flint axe was found in 1967 by Sgt. R. Darnley in Thistledown Field at the top of Charing Hill, and was donated to the Maidstone Museum (Acc. No. 59.1968). (1) A casual find. Find site marked by finder on musuem 6" at TQ 9703 5121. (2)
