This is a 16th century thatched cotage in Marsh Lane. It is a two storey timber framed building which has been rendered, with one end wall re-covered with red brick. The wooden casement windows and red brick extension were added in the 20th century.

House. C16, extended C20. Timber framed and rendered, with red brick end wall to right, with thatched roof. Two storeys and attic, with projecting end stack to right, and eyebrow dormer. Irregular fenestration of C20 wood casements. Plank and stud door in catslide outshot to left. Rear elevation: exposed large panel frame with tension braces; plaster infilling. Red brick and plain tiled roofed C20 extension to left of no special interest
