In 1995 a summary on the Sheerness docklands was carried out by RCHME.This is possibly an 18th century building, though exact building date is unknown, perhaps c.1800. It was raised in height and refaced in the early 19th century. It was a public house by 1864 known as the Swan Inn and was both number 61 and 62. Currently it is known as the Red Lion Public House and only occupies number 61, 62 is a shop. It appears to be a brick and timber framed building. (2)
