Statue of General Wolfe TQ 4454 35/1373 10.9.54.

2. Erected in 1911. Designed by Derwent Wood ARA and standing on ornamental pedestal of Portland stone. Inscription reads - Major-General James Wolfe, Born at Westerham, January 2nd, 1727. Died at battle of Quebec September 13th, 1759.

(TQ 44675403) Monument (NAT) (1) 5280 WESTERHAM WESTERHAM The Green (West End) Statue of General Wolfe TQ 4454 35/1373 10.9.54. II* Erected in 1911. Designed by Derwent Wood ARA and standing on ornamental pedestal of Portland stone. Inscription reads - Major- General James Wolfe, Born at Westerham, January 2nd, 1727. Died at battle of Quebec September 13th, 1759. (2) Derwent Wood's statue of General Wolfe, 1910, lead statue on a bulgy stone base. Wolfe, in a cocked hat, awkwardly brandishes his sword. (3-4)
