To the right, deliberately rising much higher, a gabled bay, projecting forward twice. Under each projection an oriel on carved brackets, one plus five plus one lights with a transom. On the upper one the date 1622. The bargeboard carved but not shaped. This is the sort of thing that inspired Norman Shaw's early style. (4)
