[Name TQ 76095575] crypt [NR] (Remains of) [NAT] (1) [TQ 76095574] 14th c. vaulted cellar under Nos. 99 and 100 High Street, Maidstone. [See AO/55/129/5] (2-4) Cellar as described. In good condition. (5) Additional bibliography. (6-7)

HIGH STREET 1. 5278 (South-East Side) Nos 99 & l00 TQ 7655 NW 2/20 30.7.51. II GV
2. Includes No 2 Gabriel's Hill. One building. Now 2 shops. A C16 timber-framed building with plastered front. 2nd floor overhangs on brackets. The lst floor also overhangs on the front facing Gabriel's Hill but the ground floor has been underbuilt on the front facing High Street. 1/2 hipped tiled roof. Wide 1/2 hipped gable facing High Street. 2 hipped dormers facing Gabriel's Hill. Cornice above 2nd floor. 4 storeys 2 windows facing High Street, 2 windows facing Gabriel's Hill. 2nd floor has 2 triple sashes. let floor has 1 canted bay and 1 3-light window with reeded band above. Modern shopfronts. Mediaeval undercroft. Nos 93 to 95 (consec). 97A and 98 to 100 (consec) form a group.
