(TQ 83483747) Castweazel Manor (NAT) (1) 5272 BIDDENDEN Castwisell Manor Farmhouse TQ 83 NW 3/113 4.6.52. II* 2. L-shaped C15 timber-framed building, its north-east front close- studded with plaster infilling, the 1st floor overhanging on joists and brackets. Two storeys. Tiled roof. Six casement windows with small square leaded panes on 1st floor. Contemporary wooden doorcase with plain spandrels and iron-studded door with immense iron knocker. The sides and back have been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and tile hung above. (2) Castwisell, or Castweazel, Manor, two storeys. Closely set uprights, continuous overhang. Half-hipped roof. Perhaps mid 16th century. (3)
