[TQ 5850 5614] CAVE [O.E.] (Site of) (1) Site of a cave, probably associated with the Palaeolithic rock shelters [TQ 55 NE 26] destroyed by quarrying about 1838. (2) There are no traces left of this cave. There is much evidence of quarrying in this area. (3)
