Summary

Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1100 to 1830. Wall on the south east side of No 16 The Cathedral Precincts and forming the west wall of the Memorial Gardens. The wall is built of Georgian brick and also reused Medieval masonry of stone and flint. The wall also incorporates a reset 12th century round headed decorated arch.

1. 944 THE CATHEDRAL PRECINCTS
Wall on south east side of No 16 (Meister Omers) and forming the west wall of the Memorial Gardens TR 1557 NW 5/463

2. Built of Georgian brick and Mediaeval flint and stone reused masonry. It contains a reset archway of Christchurch Monastery in stone with a C12 round-headed arch and zigzag tracery. The other side of the arch has coil-moulding.

Wall on south east side of No 16 (Meister Omers) Cathedral Precincts (TR 15 NE 98) and forming the west wall of the Memorial Gardens, Grade II. (TR 15235786 sited from HHR map). Built of Georgian brick and medieval flint and stone reused masonry. It contains a reset archway of Christchurch Monastery in stone with a 12th century round-headed arch and zigzag tracery. The other side of the arch has coil-moulding. (2)
