2. C15 timber-framed Wealden hall-house with plaster infilling and curved braces, 2 storeys and attics. The end window bays on the 1st floor oversail on the protruding ends of the floor joists and brackets. The recessed portion in the centre has overhanging eaves supported at each end on a curved brace and in the centre on another pair of the same standing on a projecting bracket.
