Stone implements - spearheads, etc. - belonging to the pre-metallic period and formed from Kentish limestone were found in grubbing up an apple tree at Beale-Poste's residence, Bydews Place, 30th October, 1850. Exhibited to Assocn. by Rev. Beale-Poste. (1) Add. ref. (2) [TQ 74755435] Bydews Place. [NAT] (3) These implements are not held in Maidstone Museum and no information was obtained either there or at Bydews Place. (4)
