A small brick built structure on the northern side of Bastion No.1, just to thew rear fo the 19th century and WW2 gun emplacements. It was probably built during the First World War as a minefield control post. It has an armoured roof, a slit 0.5m high in the seaward side and a legde and recesses inside (1)
