A Second World War anti-tank ditch indicated by aerial photographs.The ditch was part of an interrupted circuit enclosing Maidstone. This section ran from Park Avenue to the Sittingbourne Road. It was c. 477m long and took a dog-leg turn immediately south-west of the junction of Sittingbourne Road and what is now Coral Park to run for 130m along Sittingbourne Road (1)
