Summary

A Second World War anti-tank trap, possibly consisting of two large ditches, was known to have run from Buckland Lane under temporary school buildings of Brunswick House Primary School before re-orientating to the south-west across London Road through the site of Somerfield Hospital. This is identified in aerial photographs.
