If you do not understand anything on this page please contact us.

The cottages at Well Place were built before 1740 and lay at right-angles to the original farmhouse. They consist of a long terrace built on a stone base with brick and timber frame walls under a tile roof, which is half-hipped at the southern end. The windows are a mixture of wood frame and metal. They original were probably leaded in a metal casement. (1)
