Ashour Lodge built in 1861 to a George Devey design, on the site of an eariler building. The building is of dressed stone walls on the ground floor, with a half timber with rendered infil panels to first floor. The plain tile roof, with the stone chimney, has gables and a half hexagon over the bay. The gables project with wood brackets at the corners and are part tile hung and part half timbered. The windows have metal casements in wood and stone frames.(1)
