The Bridge Cement Works were established in 1886 situated between the Globe & Crown works. The site closed at some stage between 1910 and 1930. Most of buildings were demolished. One part beside the dock may have continued in use as part of the combined Crown & Quarry Works operated by Blue Circle until 1963.

The bridge Works were established by TC Hooman & Co. in 1886. They were situated between the Globe & Crown works.(1) The site closed, sometime between 1910 and 1930, and most of the buildings were demolished, except for a fragment of the main part beside the dock. this may have continued in use as part of the combined Crown & Quarry Works operated by Blue Circle until 1963.(2)
