A WWII Pillbox, built by June 1940, on the Sea Front, Dover. Built in reinforced concrete and has now been destroyed.(1) Additional information(2,3)

WWII type 22 pillbox visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1945 (4 and 5), located in Dover. This hexagonal feature was 5.5m at maximum dimensions and lay directly on the coast.

The pillbox lay 2m S of a roadblock (MWX43615) and 70m NNW of another WWII type 22 pillbox (MKE16972).
