Brickworks fed by clay pits at TQ 76 NE 357-360. Shown on OS 6" 3rd ed map (1910). OS 6" 1st ed (1872) shows predecessor- Luton Brickfield, located at TQ 76 NE 328. (1)

On the 4th edition OS map (early 20th Century) a site of "Romain remains; Foundations etc. was found A.D. 1869" is marked within the boundary of the Luton Brickworks, Street End Road, Luton
