Summary
A brickworks was formerly located near Dumpton. The site is marked on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1858-1922) although it appears to shift or expand during this period. This brickworks was part of an industry in the area around the turn of the 20th century (see also TR 36 NE 360 and TR 36 NE 361).
