This brickfield, known as Teynham Field, opened up in the mid nineteenth century. It was a large scale operation with six washbacks, and was connected to Conyer Creek by a small gauge railway. It shut down in 1939.

1897 O.S. 6" 2nd ed. map, sheet 33 NE shows large brickworks. SE boundary of pit uncertain. 3rd ed. of 1909 shows extension of pit extensive tramways, but seems to have converted to cement works. (1)

This brickfield was called Teynham Field and consisted of six handbacks and washbacks. It was connected to Conyer by a small gauge railway. It opened up around 1860 and shut down in 1939. (2)
