Brickworks shown on O.S. 6" 2nd ed. map, sheet 34 NW (1898). Gone on 3rd ed. of 1909. (1)

Twist identifies this as Amos Field, which was connected through a tunnel under the road to a wharf on Oare Creek. It was opened up around 1870 and shut down around 1900.(2)
