Summary

The Maidstone Water Company in 1860/61 built the reservoir to receive pumped water from East Farleigh Pumping Station (TQ 75 SW 66) which was built at the same time. Water flowed by gravity to Maidstone.

The reservoir was demolished in 1996 for housing development.

Reservoir built 1860-1 by the Miadstone water Co to receive water pumped from East Farleigh Pumping Station. the supply flowed, by gravity, through a pipe to Maidstone from Barming. The reservoir was demolished in 1996 (1)
