Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 10: 2298 Photograph Number: KCC 1967 Line 28: 1334 Photograph Number: KCC 1985 Line 13: 0150 On the 1961 a single barge lies in this position at high water, end on to the shore and apparently afloat. On the 1967 survey there appears to be traces of several barges in the same position and orientation. It is difficult however to determine whether this is the remains of decayed of buried barges or simply mud berths. On the 1985 survey the shadow of these possible barges still remains in the intertidal area.

At least 14 vessels seen in this location in 1946 (1,2).
