Lower Palaeolithic hand axe Provenance: Chart Farm, Seal Chart, Seal (TQ 576565) Kent County Museums Service Accession No.: K1850.43 (1) Palaeolithic finds from area first reported by Evans (1), then by Prestwich (2, 3); more than 20 Palaeolithic handaxes recorded by Roe in the 1960s (4).
