Ketch had been collecting grit from the beach to west of Rye when she got into trouble off the harbour mouth in sudden stormy wind. The lifeboat was called out and rescued three crew. Wind blew her onto the Camber sands. (Biggs) East Sussex MSMR gives date of loss as 1909. Drove ashore and was wrecked in wind conditions E force 7.
