Crouch: surface-finds of three Palaeolithic handaxes recorded by Roe in the 1960s in Maidstone Museum (2). Various references to visits to Crouch by Benjamin Harrison in late 19th century and early 20th century (1), but no information on any Palaeolithic finds.
