Offham, Comp Rise: one Palaeolithic handaxe held in British Museum and recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2). Circumstances of recovery and exact findspot location unknown, but locality corresponds well with Benjamin Harrison's report of Palaeolithic artefacts having been found "on the divide at 400flint in the Comp area" (1).
