Ightham Court, known as "Court Lodge" up to c. 1890: surface-finds of 2 Palaeolithic handaxes and one possible flake-tool in late 19th century by Benjamin Harrison, and numerous general prehistoric material from the large field to the west (1); Palaeolithic finds from site recorded by Roe in the 1960s in Maidstone Museum (2).
