Ash, West Yoke and "Westyoke Farm": surface finds in late 19th century of several Palaeolithic handaxes reported by Prestwich (1), and substantial collections in several museums recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2), espcially in British Museum and London Institute of Archaeology.
