Seal Chart Common: several Palaeolithic handaxes found in late 19th century (1, 2), probably surface-finds although circumstances of recovery unknown; 5 handaxes recorded by Roe in the 1960s in museum collections (British Museum, Maidstone Museum and Dartford Museum). (3)
