Seal and Seal Chart, general area: surface finds of numerous Palaeolithic handaxes in late 19th century, mostly moderately large pointed forms (1, 2). Fourteen handaxes recorded by Roe in the 1960s (3), moslty in collections of British Museum and Maidstone Museum.
