A possible Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery, pre-1987 aerial photographs revealed a probable Bronze age barrow group and a flat cemetery. The cemetery may be prehistoric but thought by perkins to be Anglo-Saxon.

The site lies on a low spur, overlooking Brooksend Stream. OD 10-15m.
