A set of ‘Dragon’s Teeth tank traps were built on the outer defences of Dover Castle as part of the emergency defences of the castle following the fall of Dunkirk in 1940 and were designed to deter armoured vehicles. The remains consist of a triple row of concrete blocks on the north western side, near the tip of the Spur, and a single row on the east side of spur, close to the road. A set of ‘Dragon’s Teeth tank traps were built on the outer defences of Dover Castle as part of the emergency defences of the castle following the fall of Dunkirk in 1940 and were designed to deter armoured vehicles. The remains consist of a triple row of concrete blocks on the north western side, near the tip of the Spur, and a single row on the east side of spur, close to the road. Summarised from source (1) There is a concrete wall for use as an infantary position between them. On the otherside of the road is a "U" shaped concrete wall which may have been part of an associated roadblock. Traces of an anti-tank ditch can be seen on the slope below. (2)
